Garmin G5

The Garmin G5 electronic flight instrument delivers exceptional performance, reliability and ease of installation as a drop-in replacement for primary attitude and/or directional gyros in type-certificated fixed-wing aircraft. For select aircraft equipped with G500 or G500 TXi, G5 can also be used as a standby flight instrument to those systems. Garmin WX 500

Displaying lightning information at ranges of 25-200 nmi, the Stormscope WX-500 is designed to interface with the most popular new generation of multi-function displays. With the WX-500, you can view lightning information directly on your MFD—either on a dedicated page or overlaid on the moving map.

 

Even if your MFD already has datalink weather, nothing provides the accuracy and timeliness of a Stormscope system for mapping ALL lightning activity. The WX-500 also lets you choose between strike and cell mode, depending on your preference. By adding the Stormscope WX-500 to SkyWatch® or SkyWatch® HP systems, traffic and lightning information can be superimposed over datalink weather or radar returns.* The operating modes of Stormscope WX-500 and SkyWatch are controlled directly through your MFD or radar indicator using an RGC350, eliminating the space and cost of an extra controller.

 

Garmin GAD 29B

Garmin GAD 29 is an affordable ARINC 429 avionics data bus module that can be used to interface up to 2 IFR-capable GPS navigators with the G3X Touch and G5 series electronic flight displays. It can also be used to adapt the GTX 800 series active traffic system for use with G3X and G3X Touch displays.

This compact GPS/navigation data adapter, when installed with the GTN 750 or GTN 650 series or legacy GNS 530 or GNS 430 navigators, can enable such advanced features as GPS steering, WAAS LPV vertical approach guidance, HSI map navigation, coupled VNAV and more for access via your compatible flight display system.
